UK parliamentarians say leave Bolivia alone

More than 30 UK Members of Parliament have congratulated Evo Morales on his election victory and called for the Government to be allowed to reverse "neo-liberal" reforms.

In a resolution (called an Early Day Motion), 32 UK members of Parliament congratulated Evo Morales on his election victory and called on the International Community to allow the Bolivian Government to reverse "neo-liberal reforms"

The resolution 1303 says:

That this House congratulates Evo Morales on his success in the Bolivian election; notes his campaign was dominated by the demand that oil and gas reserves should benefit the people of the country and a rejection of new liberal economies; and trusts the international community will respect the wishes of the people and co-operate with the new government.
